Curiosidades

Outro dia, um colega me passou um pequeno texto com várias informações sobre os nomes de países e continentes. Ele não sabia a fonte exata desse material. Estou a pesquisando uma vez que é no mínimo curioso a origem de todos esses nomes.

A palavra europa é provavelmente de origem semita, do acádico erebu, ‘entrar, por-se’ (dito do sol), ereb chamshai, ‘por do sol’. Nessa hipótese, Europa que dizer exatamente Ocidente. A forma E u r v p h , como no nome E u r -v p h , ‘cara larga’, seria apenas um tendência de helenizar as palavras estrangeiras. A palavra ásia, também viria do acádico asu, ‘ir-se, surgir’ (dito do sol), significa, então, exatamente o mesmo que Oriente. Com isso, Ásia e Europa, Oriente e Ocidente, são sinônimos.

Não são no entanto seguras essas etimologias de Ásia e Europa. Uma coisa porém é certa, que o nome Europa está ligado ao mito relacionando gregos e fenícios (7). Zeus, em forma de touro, rapta uma mulher fenícia, a bela Europa.Assim, o nome Europa é nome que vem do Oriente, não se sabe, porém, como.

A palavra Europa deriva de ereb, que pertence às línguas semíticas e significa “região onde o sol se põe.” O termo era usado nos séculos IX a.C. e VIII a.C. para designar a parte continental oeste da Grécia


No mundo antigo e clássico, haviam oito designações básicas de nomes para as pessoas de compleição escura: cusitas, camitas, putitas, cananitas, de cabeça negra, líbios, etíopes e mouros. As palavras “cusita”e “camita” significam “o povo negro”. Os putitas, junto com os cusitas, camitas, cananitas e sumérios são relatados na Bíblia (Gênesis 10:6-10) na família camita (negra) das nações. Os sumérios (mesopotâmios), que foram os fundadores da civilização que conhecemos hoje, descrevem-se nos seus próprios escritos como “os de cabeça negra”. Esses são nomes que povos de compleição escura se auto-denominaram. Mais tarde, os gregos re-batizaram a terra e povos de Cush “Etiópia”. Os povos que chamavam a sua terra de “a terra de Cam “e a sí próprios de “camitas” foram re-batizados de “egípcios” pelos gregos. Os putitas foram re-batizados de “Líbios”. E a terra e povos de Canaã foram chamados pelos gregos de “Palestina”e “palestinos”. Eventualmente, todos os povos de compleição escura eram referidos pelos gregos como “etíopes”- “um homem com uma face queimada (sol) “. Geralmente falando, no mundo antigo e clássico, as pessoas de compleição escura eram conhecidas como “a raça de Cam”ou “etíopes”. Na Idade-Média, certas pessoas de compleição escura, através da Europa, África e Ásia, que eram, em muitos casos, de descendência árabe e africana, eram conhecidas como “mouros”. A palavra “mouro”significa “preto”e era frequentemente usada como uma referência a todas as pessoas de compleição escura através do globo.
No período moderno, as três mais importantes designações de nomes para os povos de compleição escura, particularmente na América, são afro-americano, preto e negro.
A derivação exata do nome “África”é incerto, mas a palavra era principalmente usada pelos romanos para designar a região ao redor de Cartago e mais tarde para todo o continente. A maior tribo da região era Aourigha (pronunciado Afarika), e é provável que esse nome foi a fonte da palavra. A palavra “África”significa “escuro”. Ela foi primeiramente usada principalmente pelos romanos, e alguns dizem que a palavra é de orígem romana.
Muitas pessoas argumentam que o nome “preto”é sem base. Entretanto, os nativos habitantes da Etiópia, Egito e Suméria (Mesopotâmia) de denominavam “pretos”ou “os de cabeça preta”.
De acordo com um importante antropólogo (Arthur Custance, Ph.D., que por acaso é branco), ele chegaram a igualar o termo “ povos de cabeças pretas” com a idéia de serem “homens”como um verdadeiro povo, em contraste com outros seres humanos que não eram, afinal, verdadeiramente homens.
Talvez as suas atitudes fossem derivadas do fato de que, numérica, política e culturalmente eles eram o povo dominante no mundo antigo (4.000 A.C.-2350 A.C.). ( O preconceito é errado, não importa quem o está praticando). Desde o princípio dos tempos, a palavra “preto” tem sido usada por pessoas de compleição escura e por outros como uma apelação.
África - O nome de África "Continente Negro", provém da palavra fenícia afri, que significa homem negro.

América - Quando Colombo descobriu a América, imaginou ter chegado à parte ocidental da Índia. Batizou as ilhas do mar do Caribe com o nome de Índias Ocidentais. Chamou índios ao habitantes do país, nome que ainda hoje conservam os aborígenes da América. O nome de América vem de Américo Vespúcio, viajante florentino que visitou o país depois de Colombo e que escreveu uma descrição do mesmo, daí supor o geógrafo Waldssmuller fosse ele o descobridor.

Ásia - O continente mais antigo que se conhece é o asiático. Supõe-se que o homem fez nele a sua primeira aparição. A palavra Ásia vem do vocábulo sanscrito ushas , que quer dizer "país da aurora", nome muito apropriado para o que foi provavelmente berço da humanidade.
Europa - O nome deste continente deriva de algumas palavras gregas que querem dizer "a ampla face da terra" ou talvez de uma palavra hebráica que significa "o país do sol poente".

Alemanha - Vem de Alemani, nome de uma poderosa tribo germanica que fez incursões no Império Romano, até o século IV de nossa era. O país denominou-se ao princípio Inonges, nome que os romanos trocaram pelo de Germania, de germanus, forma latinizada de uma palavra gaulesa que significa "vizinho".

Arábia - significa país dos árabes , ou dos "homens do deserto".

Argélia - Provem da palavra árabe Al Jezair que quer dizer "a península".

Chile - Quando os espanhóis chegaram ao país sul-americano que hoje chamamos Chile, ouviram ali este nome que significa "neve", dado a um de seus territórios, e eles aplicaram-no à totalidade.

China - Este é um nome que jamais se ouviu na China, onde os povos designam com vários nomes os diversos territórios que constituem aquele país. Teve em outros tempos o nome de Catay. A palavra China, supõe-se ser derivada de Tsina, "o país de Tsin ",que foi a dinastia que mandou construir a sua grande muralha.

Escócia - Foi chamada antigamente Caledonia, que queria dizer terra dos "cacles" ou "geales". No século III , contudo, os escotos, tribo do norte da Irlanda, invadiram o país, ao qual deram o nome de Escócia, ou país dos escotos.

Espanha - Deriva da antiga palavra span, que significa coelho. Os cartagineses encontraram o país invadido por estes animais, e chamaram-lhe o país dos coelhos.

França - É o nome moderno do país que outrora se chamou Gália. Os galos ou gauleses foram os primeiros possuidores deste país; mas os francos, procedentes da província alemã de Franconia, conquistaram-no e lhe deram o nome de França ou Frankreich, que significa reino dos francos.

Holanda - É uma forma moderna de ollant, vocábulo dinamarques que significa "país pantanoso" ou também "país dos bosques".

Índia - Significa país por onde corre o rio Indo.

Inglaterra - É uma corruptela do nome inglês England, e significa "país dos anglos", povo que, procedente da Alemanha, o invadiu e conquistou no século V .

Itália - É o nome dado ao país outrora governado pelo rei Ítalo.

Japão - É uma palavra que no Japão nunca se ouve. Os japoneses chamam ao seu país Niphon ou
Nipon, que significa "país do sol nascente". A palavra Japão vem da denominação -Jepen
dada pelos chineses ao país, Je (sol) e pen (origem).

Palestina - Significa "país dos estrangeiros". Esta palavra deriva de outra que quer dizer
"errar".

Portugal - Vem de Portus Cale, nome que os romanos deram à antiga cidade do Porto. Quer
dizer "porto de Cale" e daqui proveio o nome do país inteiro.

Rússia - Deriva da palavra russ, nome de uma tribo que conquistou o referido país há muitíssimo
tempo.

O Vereador paulista do PSB, Eliseu Gabriel, nos informa que agora (pelo menos em terras paulistas) o professor readaptado também tem direito à aposentadoria. Segundo o parlamentar, a não inclusão dos professores aos direitos constitucionalmente estabelecidos é uma injustiça sem fim!!! Segundo esse parlamentar, um exemplo do que acontecia, pode ser apresentado da seguinte forma: uma professora tem direito à aposentadoria após 25 anos de trabalho. Porém, se após 20 anos ela ficasse doente, com algum problema de saúde que a impossibilitasse de dar aula, como a perda da voz por exemplo, ela era readaptada para outra função pedagógica na escola. Como castigo, só poderia aposentar-se após 30 anos de trabalho. Agora isso tudo mudou! Esta conquista é fruto de uma longa luta da qual tenho orgulho de ter participado. Foram vários projetos de leis que apresentei e consegui colocar em votação, reuniões com os prefeitos dos últimos 11 anos, com secretários de educação, de gestão, de planejamento. Organizamos seminários sobre o tema, audiências públicas e ajudamos na formação do Fórum dos Readaptados. Mantivemos intensos contatos com a Procuradoria Geral do Município de São Paulo onde conseguimos finalmente, em 2010, um parecer favorável à ideia de que os readaptados têm os mesmos direitos dos demais. Os brasileiros acham que o mundo todo presta, menos o Brasil, realmente parece que é um vício falar mal do Brasil. Todo lugar tem seus pontos positivos e negativos, mas no exterior eles maximizam os positivos, enquanto no Brasil se maximizam os negativos. Aqui na Holanda, os resultados das eleições demoram horrores porque não há nada automatizado. Só existe uma companhia telefônica e pasmem!: Se você ligar reclamando do serviço, corre o risco de ter seu telefone temporariamente desconectado. Nos Estados Unidos e na Europa, ninguém tem o hábito de enrolar o sanduíche em um guardanapo - ou de lavar as mãos antes de comer. Nas padarias, feiras e açougues europeus, os atendentes recebem o dinheiro e com mesma mão suja entregam o pão ou a carne. Em Londres, existe um lugar famosíssimo que vende batatas fritas enroladas em folhas de jornal - e tem fila na porta. Na Europa, não-fumante é minoria. Com essa atitude, talvez não consigamos mudar o modo de pensar de cada brasileiro, mas ao ler estas palavras irá, pelo menos, por alguns momentos, refletir e se orgulhar de ser brasileiro. Assembleia com indicativo de greve em 14 de abril, 10 horas, no Sinpro Em assembleia realizada no dia 24/03, os professores rejeitaram a proposta feita pelo sindicato patronal (Sinep/MG) que ofereceu um reajuste de 7%, para a reivindicação em torno de 14%. A assembleia autorizou o Sinpro Minas a negociar uma contraproposta de reajuste salarial de 12% – que contempla o aumento real de salário –, desde que sejam discutidos os outros itens da pauta (regulamentação da EaD; seguro de vida e equiparação salarial do piso do ensino infantil com os do fundamental, médio e EJA, pendentes desde a última campanha reivindicatória, quando os professores fizeram uma greve de nove dias. No dia 3 de abril foi realizada uma reunião de negociação com o sindicato patronal, mas, nenhuma nova proposta foi apresentada pelos donos de escolas. Haverá uma nova reunião no dia 12 de abril.

Antropologia: uma ciência da modernidade

O termo antropologia não é utilizado de maneira uniforme em todo o mundo, por exemplo, nos Estados Unidos é mais usada a designação Antropologia Cultural, enquanto que na Grã-Bretanha o termo antropologia social designa ou a etnologia, ou a antropologia cultural. Nos países europeus – por exemplo, na França – observa-se uma tendência para o uso dos três termos que representam os níveis de pesquisa que, gradualmente, vêm estabelecendo nos Estados Unidos dentro da Antropologia Cultural: etnografia, etnologia comparada, antropologia social. Os autores nacionais fazem uso de ambas as designações. Philippe Laburthe-Tolra e Jean Pierre Warnier explicam os motives das diferenças na terminologia e no uso delas: “Por oposição à antropologia americana definida e considerada uma antropologia cultural herdeira de Herder e de Tylor, a antropologia definiu-se na Grã-Bretanha por referência a Morgan e Durkheim, isto é, uma antropologia social. À medida que não existe civilização que não seja a de uma dada sociedade que não seja portadora de uma civilização, os adjetivos ‘cultural’ e ‘social’ que qualificam, respectivamente, a antropologia americana e britânica não indicam uma diferença de ênfase, ou, antes, de opção quanto à forma escolhida para abordar os fatos socioculturais.” (LABURTHE-TOLRA, P., WARNIER, J.-P., Etnologia-Antropologia. Petrópolis: Vozes, 1997, p.68.)

Para a atual pesquisa histórica, a abordagem antropológica é uma das mais fecundas e promissoras, visto que nos permite desvelar o cotidiano dos povos sem romper com os laços sócio-culturais inerentes de cada um. O olhar sobre essas maneiras típicas de apreender o mundo torna possível desvendar o particular de cada fato que fez a História, ou seja, possibilita a nossa aproximação das práticas próprias de cada grupo com os olhos dos homens de então, descentrando o nosso olhar e despojando dos condicionamentos históricos-ideológicos, dos maneirismos racionalistas e fantasiosos.
A reflexão do homem sobre o homem e sua sociedade, e a elaboração de um saber é algo tão antigo quanto à própria humanidade, e ocorreram nos quatro cantos do mundo. Por exemplo, muito antes da constituição da antropologia como ciência (aproximadamente quatro séculos antes de Cristo) Confúcio diz que “A natureza dos homens é a mesma, são os seus hábitos que os mantém separados” (LARAIA, Roque de Barros. Cultura – um conceito antropológico. Rio de Janeiro: Zahar, 2000. p.10.)O que significa que o homem não precisou de um saber constituído para interrogar-se sobre si mesmo. Pois, em todas as sociedades existiram homens que observavam homens e que elaboraram formas de explicação para as diferenças e semelhanças entre eles e os outros, onde poderia ocorrer a negação ou a afirmação da condição humana do grupo observado. Ou seja, no decorrer da História da humanidade tentou-se descobrir a chave do enigma que explicaria o motivo de termos na espécie humana lado a lado uma unidade biológica da espécie e uma grande diversidade cultural.
Nos próximos paragráfos, seguirei o percurso proposto por Laraia no seu livro Cultura – um conceito atropológico, e procurarei observar de modo claro o fato que grande parte das teorias elaboradas não conseguiu explicar tal dilema em toda a sua extensão. Assim, contrariamente a muitas das teorias, podemos afirmar as características biológicas não são determinantes das diferenças culturais: por exemplo, se uma criança brasileira for criada na França (se for colocada desde o início em situação conveniente de aprendizado), ela crescerá como uma francesa, aprendendo a língua, os hábitos, crenças e valores dos franceses. Podemos citar, ainda, o fato de que muitas atividades que são atribuídas às mulheres numa cultura são responsabilidade dos homens em outra. A espécie humana se diferencia anatômica e filologicamente através do dimorfismo sexual, mas é falso dizer que as diferenças de comportamentos existentes entre as pessoas de sexos diferentes sejam determinadas biologicamente. As distinções entre os sexos é fruto de um aprendizado, que é gerado a partir de um processo que chamamos de endoculturação (processo de aprendizagem e educação de uma cultura, desde a infância até à idade adulta).
Tentou-se também explicar as diferenças culturais entre os povos a partir das variações climáticas e geográficas, isto é, através de um determinismo geográfico considerava-se que as diferenças do ambiente físico condicionam (e/ou determinam) a diversidade cultural. Marco Pólo afirma que: “Os povos do sul tem uma inteligência aguda, devido à raridade da atmosfera e ao calor; enquanto os das nações do norte, tendo se desenvolvido numa atmosfera densa e esfriados pelos vapores dos ares carregados, têm uma inteligência preguiçosa” E Jean Bodin por sua vez nos diz que “Os povos do norte têm um liquido dominante de vida o fleuma, enquanto os do sul são dominados pela bílis negra. Em decorrência disso, os nórdicos são fieis, leais aos governantes, cruéis e pouco interessados sexualmente; os do sul são maliciosos, engenhosos, abertos, orientados para a ciência, mas mal adaptados para as atividades políticas.
Entretanto, tais teorias que criadas no século XIX, ganharam muita popularidade esbarram numa constatação como pode haver uma grande diversidade cultural localizada em um mesmo tipo de ambiente físico. Um bom exemplo, são o lapões e os esquimós. Eles vivem em ambientes muito semelhantes – os lapões (no norte da Europa) e os esquimós (no norte da América). Era de se esperar que eles tivessem comportamentos semelhantes, mas seus estilos de vida são bem diferentes: os esquimós constroem os iglus amontoando blocos de gelo num formato de colméia e forram a casa por dentro com peles de animais, com a ajuda do fogo, eles conseguem manter o interior da casa aquecido e quando quererem se mudar, o esquimó abandona a casa levando apenas suas coisas e constrói um novo iglu; por sua vez, os lapões vivem em tendas de peles de rena, quando desejam se mudar, eles têm que desmontar o acampamento, secar as peles e transportar tudo para o novo local. Eles criam renas, enquanto os esquimós apenas caçam renas.
Este exemplo e tantos outros os quais podemos recorrer servem para mostrar as diferenças de comportamentos entre os homens não podem ser explicadas através das diversidades somatológicas ou mesológicas. Tanto o determinismo geográfico como o determinismo biológico é incapaz de resolver tal dilema proposto inicialmente. As diferenças existentes entre os homens não podem ser explicadas a partir das limitações impostas pelo meio ambiente ou pelo seu aparato físico, visto que a grande qualidade do homem foi a de romper com as suas próprias limitações. Pois, caso contrário, como explicar a seguinte pergunta: “Será que o sol que brilhou para os livres gregos e romanos emitem diferentes raios sobre os seus descendentes?

TRT da 15ª Região e Governo de SP se unem para implantar projeto “Justiça do Trabalho” no Programa Escola da Família

O TRT da 15ª Região e a Secretaria da Educação do Estado de São Paulo, por meio da Fundação para o Desenvolvimento da Educação (FDE), celebraram protocolo de intenções para a implantação do projeto Justiça do Trabalho no âmbito do Programa Escola da Família (PEF). O projeto visa disseminar informações relativas a Justiça, Ética e Cidadania para educadores universitários que atuam nas escolas participantes do PEF em 19 Diretorias de Ensino pertencentes à região jurisdicionada pelo Tribunal. A proposta é que esses universitários multipliquem os conhecimentos adquiridos para professores, alunos, seus familiares e toda a comunidade estabelecida na proximidade das escolas, conscientizando-os sobre os direitos e deveres trabalhistas e demonstrando a forma de exercê-los.
O compromisso foi firmado pelo presidente da Corte, desembargador Renato Buratto, e pelo presidente da FDE, professor José Bernardo Ortiz, em cerimônia no último dia 29, no Espaço Cultural do TRT, no 1º andar do edifício-sede do Regional, em Campinas, a que compareceram também a diretora de projetos especiais do FDE, Claudia Aratangy, e a coordenadora do PEF, Ana Maria Stuginsky.
Perante dirigentes e supervisores de ensino e professores de coordenação pedagógica, o desembargador Buratto explicou que o projeto é um desdobramento da política que vem sendo implementada em sua gestão à frente do Tribunal, voltada ao esclarecimento da população sobre as funções e as atividades da Justiça do Trabalho, em consonância com o que dispõe a Meta 4 do Conselho Nacional de Justiça para o ano de 2011 e a correspondente Meta 23 do Plano Estratégico do Regional. “Instruir os estudantes, despertando-lhes o senso de justiça e noções de ética e do exercício da cidadania, esclarecendo quais são os direitos e deveres de todo brasileiro, é obrigação de todo gestor público. E o Poder Judiciário não poderia ausentar-se nesta tarefa”, reforçou o presidente do TRT.
Em breve discurso, o professor José Bernando Ortiz enalteceu os propósitos do Programa Escola da Família e reforçou a importância de trazer os jovens e suas famílias para as escolas, “espaço de aprendizagem”. O presidente do FDE disse também sentir-se muito honrado com a parceria firmada com o TRT para o desenvolvimento da cidadania na comunidade, diversificando, assim, a área de atuação do Programa.
Encerrando a cerimônia, o desembargador Edmundo Fraga Lopes, gestor regional do Programa Nacional de Prevenção do Acidente de Trabalho, conclamou todos a se unirem à Justiça do Trabalho nessa campanha, coordenada pelo Tribunal Superior do Trabalho (TST), que visa à preservação de vidas.
Segundo informou o magistrado, em 2009 o INSS contabilizou 723 mil acidentes de trabalho notificados, com mais de 2.500 vítimas fatais. Para Edmundo, a conscientização para o problema é uma necessidade imperiosa, e esse trabalho deve começar nos bancos escolares, “de onde sairão os futuros trabalhadores, empresários e dirigentes do País. Afinal, prevenir e reduzir ao máximo os acidentes de trabalho é do interesse de todos: dos trabalhadores, certamente, as principais vítimas, mas também dos empregadores, do INSS e da própria Justiça do Trabalho, à qual são dirigidas as demandas por indenizações aos acidentados”. A participação nessa campanha e no Programa Escola da Família foi avaliada pelo desembargador como uma importante contribuição prestada pelo TRT da 15ª, “pois a cidadania não é só receber, é dar de si também”.
Capacitação
Pelos termos da parceria, caberá ao TRT disponibilizar magistrados e servidores para atuar voluntariamente na capacitação de universitários vinculados ao PEF, multiplicadores do projeto, bem como oferecer material didático-pedagógico para ser distribuído e trabalhado nas escolas envolvidas. Além da “Cartilha do Trabalhador”, contemplando os direitos e deveres do cidadão-trabalhador e a atuação da Justiça Trabalhista, o Tribunal disponibilizará um jogo da memória, voltado à discussão das relações de emprego por meio de uma atividade lúdica. Ambas as ferramentas foram elaboradas pela Assessoria de Planejamento Estratégico do Regional.
O Tribunal também se compromete a fornecer um vídeo instrutivo a ser utilizado na capacitação dos universitários e orientadores pedagógicos, mediante palestras educativas, e exibido nas escolas. Ao FDE, por sua vez, caberá apresentar o projeto às Diretorias de Ensino, responsáveis por mobilizar a participação dos universitários, distribuir as cartilhas nas escolas e acompanhar a ação dos capacitadores.
O projeto abrange as Diretorias de Ensino de Americana, Bauru, Bragança Paulista, Campinas Leste, Campinas Oeste, Capivari, Guaratinguetá, Itu, Jacareí, Jundiaí, Limeira, Mogi Mirim, Pindamonhangaba, Piracicaba, São José dos Campos, Sorocaba, Sumaré, Taubaté e Votorantim. A expectativa é que sejam capacitados 367 educadores universitários e 561 escolas, beneficiando cerca de 17 mil pessoas. Deverão ser entregues 17 mil cartilhas.
O Programa Escola da Família
O Programa Escola da Família foi criado em agosto de 2003 pela Secretaria de Estado da Educação. Reunindo profissionais da educação, voluntários e estudantes universitários, o Programa oferece atividades esportivas, culturais e educativas, nas áreas de saúde e trabalho, às comunidades paulistas, mediante a utilização, nos fins de semanas, das dependências das escolas da Rede Estadual de Ensino. O objetivo é despertar as potencialidades e ampliar os horizontes culturais de seus participantes, de modo a assegurar a inclusão social, tendo como foco o respeito à pluralidade e a busca de uma melhor qualidade de vida. Os espaços escolares, antes ociosos aos finais de semana, passam a ser ocupados com atividades planejadas para a comunidade participante, fortalecendo sua identidade e agregando no seu cotidiano valores essenciais para a edificação de uma cultura participativa.
Milhares de universitários de todo o Estado de São Paulo dedicam, hoje, seus finais de semana ao PEF, atuando nas escolas conveniadas com projetos próprios ou integrando-se àqueles já desenvolvidos pelo Programa, segundo suas habilidades e sua formação. Em contrapartida, têm seus estudos custeados pelo Programa Bolsa Universidade, uma parceria do governo estadual com instituições particulares de ensino superior. Com isso, os estudantes beneficiados acrescentam ao seu currículo uma experiência de trabalho enriquecida por valores como a responsabilidade social e a participação comunitária.
Além do TRT, o PEF mantém parcerias com outros órgãos públicos, secretarias estaduais e empresas privadas. Entre os projetos desenvolvidos destacam-se os voltados à educação financeira, mediante convênios com a Serasa Experian e com o Citibank, e os projetos implementados conjuntamente com a Secretaria de Esportes.
Até janeiro de 2012, o Programa Escola da Família havia alcançado 91 Diretorias de Ensino, envolvendo 619 municípios paulistas, 2.660 unidades das redes estadual e municipal de ensino, 4.344 professores (coordenadores da oficina pedagógica, dirigentes e supervisores de ensino, gestores e educadores profissionais), 14.568 educadores universitários e 15.493 voluntários.
Sobre o TRT da 15ª Região
O TRT da 15ª Região, com sede em Campinas, é o segundo maior do País em estrutura e em movimento processual. São 153 varas, além de nove postos avançados do Judiciário Trabalhista. A jurisdição atinge 599 municípios paulistas, perfazendo 95% do território do estado, onde reside uma população superior a 21 milhões de pessoas, uma das maiores entre as 24 regiões em que está dividida a Justiça do Trabalho do País. Em 2011, a 1ª instância da 15ª recebeu um total de 247.327 ações trabalhistas e resolveu 238.789. Em 2ª Instância, foram autuados 98.637 processos e solucionados 87.139.
